I’m trying to get back into lookbook now that I’m more settled in Toronto. So here is another post to go hype featuring my Chloes. I’m still wobbly in them but it’s getting easier. This look also features a belt I found under my boyfriend’s bed and have claimed as my new favorite accessory.

ColorLust

Disregard that as I’m writing this it’s gloomy as hell outside, but anyway… Despite the fact that most of the year my wardrobe consists of black, grey, more black and sometimes olive, when spring comes around I always end up wanting to incorporate color into my life. This spring, my new colorlust is for colored denim. So far I’ve made the leap into five new pairs of colored shorts including the dark blue ones pictured at the bottom of this post. I also purchased a dark red denim vest after I saw how awesome Angelina’s aka albinwonderland (pictured below) customized vest looks.


I have been observing just about everyone who walks past me wearing some piece of colored denim and i’m still apprehensive about donning full-on colored jeans. Maybe it’s the ex-sceney in me who doesn’t want to relive the torment, but who knows. Maybe I’ll get over it one day and make the leap into full colored denim bliss.
